Rancho Santa Fe (Santa Fe in Spanish means "holy faith") is a small community north of downtown San Diego. Formerly known as Rancho San Dieguito during the 1840's, it was an 8,824 acre Mexican land grant given by Governor Pio Pico to Juan Maria Osuna, which was later in 1922 renamed to as "Rancho Santa Fe". It is said to be as an excellent place for romance and outdoor adventures like horseback riding, wine tasting, playing some golf or visiting the polo club. Zip codes are 92067 and 92091.
