Pacific Beach is a community just north of Mission Beach/Mission Bay and South of La Jolla. Same with La Jolla, It is a neighborhood located by the coastline of Pacific Ocean facing west. It is a home for surfers, younger generation like college students, or even families. The north to south streets starts from Mission Blvd. (formerly known as Allison Street), following by 19th century federal officials Bayard, Cass, Dawes, Everts, Fanuel, Gresham, Haines, Ingraham, Jewell, Kendall, Lamont, Morrell, Noyes, Olney, and Pendleton. East to west streets on the other hand are mostly named after some precious stones. (eg. Agate, Sapphire, Opal, Diamond, etc.) Zip code is 92109.



Schools

Pacific Beach is also part of the San Diego Unified School District. Mission Bay Senior High School is renowned for its jazz program. Pacific Beach Middle School is the one famous for middle school and lastly, Pacific Beach Elementary.



Attractions

Being a coastline neighbourhood, it's not surprising that Pacific Beach have a couple of beaches right under its territory. Tourmaline Surfing Park that is located in the Northern end of Pacific Beach is the go to place for surfers stretching it down to North/Pacific Beach.

Foodies and bar hoppers will also be delighted by the numerous establishments lying around P.B. World Famous is a famous spot for morning eaters and their lobster eggs Benedict is a must try. San Diego and Mexican food goes together. Taco Surf in Mission Blvd and Oscar's Mexican Food at Turquoise St. will definitely satisfy your tacos or burritos craving. Once your appetite has been satisfied, you may relax and spend the rest of your day with your friends at some of the cosy spots in town. Beer aficionados can head to Barrel Republic at Garnet Ave. and experience a one of a kind "pour your own beer". Tavern or Miller's Field also offers a handful list of beers for those who want to sit down and watch their favorite sports on television.
